A simple but very functional hutch that works with the Brookstone Desk. Features three large cubbies, to shelf, and ample room for a computer inside the hutch.

1 - 1/4" Plywood, 1/2 sheet
2 - 1x2 8 feet long
4 - 1x4 6 feet long

2 inch screws
1 1/4 inch finish nails
2 inch finish nails
wood glue
wood filler
120 grit sandpaper
primer
wood conditioner
paint
paint brush
Tools: 
measuring tape
square
pencil
safety glasses
hearing protection
drill
circular saw
nailer
sander
countersink drill bit

Featuring three cubbies, a large interior, and storage on top, this hutch is the perfect compliment to the Brookstone Desk.

How about adding cork board to the back of the desk for added useabiltiy?

This is great. But I noticed

This is great. But I noticed almost all the plans on this website (including this one) have < 13" width's. What if we want bigger shelves? Would it make sense to get bigger boards given this design? Or should I approach it from a different design?

1X12 boards

I am planning to build the Brookstone hutch. The instructions were not specific, but it appears that (3)1X4's were used for the casing. I'm assuming 1X12's would work as well? Preference?

PDF Build Sheet Not Working

I too would like the complete build and material list for this hutch but the PDF file is not working. All that is there is lot's of symbols and characters.
