I'm so glad you included the specific type of hinge. The choices are overwhelming to a person not versed in hardware.

I think you probably notice a lot more of the things that go wrong than the rest of us. I think you've done an amazing job at the switch! I know what you mean on the DIY blog design part...I know my way around code, and just enough HTML to teter on the verge of disaster or brilliancy, and I never know which one is going to happen until I hit the go button!

Great website design, great content...what more could you ask for?!

Thanks Kara! It's always a "I hope this works and doesn't crash . . . " prayer before every update button click :) Thanks so much, LOVE your work, especially your daybeds!

Rachelle, I totally agree!

Rachelle, I totally agree! And there is NO directions on the bags as to what and how to use the hinges! I am thinking about creating a Hardware shopping guide because this aisle is so frustrating.

Hi Alanna, what I would

Hi Alanna, what I would suggest doing is to build a simple bookshelf - look through our plans - and then add doors sized to fit the bookcase. Or check out some of our armoire plans. This is definitely possible!

Would the glass panel not get in the way of the unit, the shelves look flush to cabinet so not sure door is going to work, unless hinges allow for that

Thanks for all the blog info.

Thanks for all the blog info. I'm currently on blogger, but have a Wordpress site with Thesis. And I KNOW that migration is going to be just awful. So I keep posting on blogger and putting off the inevitable. I've been looking into creating a forum, so thank you so much for letting us know which one you use. Also, I have got to get me a Kreg jig.

When I first came to your site, I wanted to comment telling all to use Kreg screws, and now I came across this plan. I picked up some c-clamps at harbor freight, just like the Kregs, but so much cheaper and they really make a difference when joining cabinet doors.

I would really like to see

I would really like to see Kev's question answered. Do we need "offset" hinges so the door shuts all the way? Thanks.
