Modern Dresser

I would love to see plans for a modern dresser to match your modern nightstands.

I think I read somewhere you didn't want to create dressers until you figured out how to make the drawers lighter. I did a little scouting at Ikea and their drawer sides only measure 1/2" thick and the bottom panel is only 1/4" thick and fits into a routered channel on the sides. Not sure how you could find 1/2" boards short of using 1/2" plywood. Then not sure how you would cover up the exposed edges but just posting what I found.
