Our Bed

Hello Ana and other assorted peoples!

This is the bed my wife and I have been working on for the better part of two months...pretty much ever since we found the site!  We are ridiculously proud of it and are already on our next project, the storage headboard.  I made one tiny little adjustment to your plans, I hope you don't mind.  We added bolts on the top end of the spacer and didn't secure the rest of it.  We have 2x4's attached to the inside of the benches so that the spacer won't fall down.  The reason we did this, is the bolts act like one big hinge.  We have been keeping stuff under the spacer like seasonal clothes, and every time we want to pull them out, we just move the mattress and open the spacer up

My pallet workbench is another one of my favorites.  I'll try to get a better picture of it later

We love this site, and are continuously inspired by the plans you've taken a long time to put up.  We already have a mile long project list to help furnish our tiny house.  The furniture we like most is anything with added storage...we kind of need it in our 700 square foot house.
