I made this loft bed for my 4-year-old son. It is plenty strong. It can easily hold him and his daddy for bedtime stories. I followed the plans to the letter. I found this a challenging but attainable second project and only needed help with final assembly. I'll start working on some bookshelves for under it but need to figure out how to work around the supports I already added (that are omitted in the bookshelf plans).
Good to know it can hold both your husband and child. That's what makes me skeptical about the loft or bunks beds.
just wondering how i would get plans for this project.
In this post, there is a section that says "From Plan: Loft Bed." Click on "Loft Bed" and that will take you to the plans. I followed them exactly.
Yes I see the "Loft Bed," but not plans pop up.
Hmm, I'm sorry. I'm not sure what to say. It works on my computer. You can also search for Loft bed. You just have to find the plans amid the other examples.
