I'm looking for some guidance in making a wine rack (for my homemade Mead) and found one i like but as we all say "don't wanna spend that much on" so if anyone has any ideas/thoughts about how to do this I would appreciate it.
Looks like it could be made out of 1x2's for the vertical members, the top is a solid piece of wood, and the bottle dividers are 3/4" square.
Here's a quick cutlist:
10 -- 1x2 39 3/4" long Vertical Supports
4 -- 1x2 16 1/2" long Horizontal supports
1 -- 1x12 17x10.5 Top
88 -- 3/4"x3/4" 8 3/4" long Bottle dividers
I'd recommend using oak for the supports to carry the weight of the bottles. Toughest part is probably finding the 3/4" square stock for the bottle dividers.
I'll give it a try! Thanks for the help.
