1/2" plywood, 1/4" plywood, 1 3/8" closet rod, 1/4" dowel
Finish Used: 
1. Interior one coat semi gloss white 2. Exterior one coat BM wedgewood grey 3. One coat Behr sage 4. Sanded 120 grit to distress 5. Stain Minwax special walnut 6. One coat clear satin poly

Cute!

These are waaay cute!  Love the detail in the finish, and that you made it in different sizes!  Also noticed how you put the little dowel in each end to keep the handles from sliding out. Neat!  :)

Yes I'm always thinking  "how could my kids break this?" whenever I make something so I knew if I didn't put that dowel peg in the handle would slide right out.  My next plan is to make a teeny tiny one, like flower girl size and maybe make some with names or words.  Sure beats PBs $89 price tag!

Awww flower girl size would be adorable!  These would make awesome decorations at a wedding shower.  Or maybe you could talk the Easter Bunny into using some of these for baskets, ...filled... stuffed bunnies, candies, maybe even some power tools!  :)
