Did you make those baskets yourself? I've been looking everywhere for some affordable wire baskets to use in my kitchen and media console and can't find anything that will work. If I could make my own...

Pam you can purchase hardware cloth in many sizes (near the chicken wire and fencing materials) and cut it to size, 'sew' it on the edges with wire.  I don't recomment going too big, I have one that's 35" x 18" and it could use a base frame to keep it square.  But the smaller sizes do perfectly.  Here's a post I did on the how-to for wire baskets:

Hope that helps.  Good luck, they're fun, quick and easy.

Thanks! I'm a farmer so I have at least one roll of hardware cloth sitting in my barn.  I want to make baskets for my DVD and CD collection. This will work perfectly.  Thank you so much for sharing the idea.
