About This Project

I used the classic bunk bed plans and resized them to fit a toddler mattress and to keep the height about four inches shorter. My kids love them and we are very happy with the result. I'm glad to share the measurements with anyone who is interested. This was a first project for me, but I had a much more experienced friend helping.

I`ve build a similar bed for my kids too. It looks great. We moved from Great Britain here . We searched for good International moving companies and when we found one we decided not to take all the things so I build myself a few things for our new house, including this type of bed.

I've been want to see this done! I can't post plans because it's not "standard compliant" to do a toddler bunk bed, but then again, the experts say not to bribe your kids with ice cream cones or let them sleep with you until they are five or beyond. . . you know your kids better than anyone, and I'm so excited to see this photo! Especially the happy faces!

Hello, Although I'm a little disappointed that I'm not the first one with the genius idea of a toddler bunk bed =(, I'm so glad somebody give it a try before me!
