I just found this site and I am so excited! I love all things handmade and I can't wait to start building some of the projects on here!
I'm new to the sahm community, my daughter is 5 and I've worked full-time until about a week ago. I am so glad I now have the opportunity to spend more time with my little girl and indulge in the things I love, i.e. my family, interior design and building projects!
I read the section 'About Ana' and I kind of laughed to myself...I am a transplant to CA, I spent the majority of my life in Kodiak, Alaska and its great to see a fellow Alaskan with such a wonderful, informative blog/site!

Hello
I'm also in CA SoCal to be honest. I recently found this site and I'm very excited to start some projects. I am a empty nester now and need to find things to keep myself busy. In the past I have built a few things for my sons rooms. Those projects were just kind of well lets try this and we winged it. The peices were functional and fine for the beating the kids would give them. Now I want to make some nice stuff for my home. I wish you luck on your pojects and hope you have lots of fun.
