Drill Master circular saw from Harbour Freight

Specifically, this one: http://www.harborfreight.com/power-tools/circular-saws/7-1-4-quarter-in…

Does anyone have experience with this tool? I own a drill and oscillating tool from this line and like them both, but as this one could kill me, I'd like to try to find some anecdotal reviews from people other than on their website. I could not find any reviews when googling.

I'm comparing it to this Skil saw from Lowes: http://bit.ly/oSfz1C . trying to decide between the two.

I need one powerful enough to cut a 2x4 but light enough for me, a little asian girl, to hold - my neighbor's Porter Cable, while frightfully powerful, is also frightfully heavy for me. TIA.

Power tools from Harbor Freight are of dubious quality. I've had good luck with sanders, and I have a tile saw that I'm moderately fond of.

If you don't forsee yourself cutting sheet goods, I strongly recommend buying a hand saw and learning how to use it. My hand saws are more accurate than my circular saw, and unlikely to leap out and claim an arm. Lowes and Home Depot both carry suitable introductory saws. I only use the circular saw when I need to cut plywood or MDF, and I try to avoid using those materials.

I've got the "other" cheap HF circular saw, the one with the laser, I used it for the first time today. I got the one I had by mistake, I meant to get the one you linked to based on reviews.

I had no problems with the saw, it was light and cut as accurate as any other circular saw I've used.

If you get the saw, make sure the blade is tight and everything looks kosher BEFORE you plug it in. I've not had any bad experiences with any HF power tools (Realistically it will happen though, they aren't cheap by accident)
