Summary:

I desperately needed a podium to help me stay organized while I lectured in the classroom. After learning that none where available at my school or even in the county, I decided to "give it a go" and tried making one myself. This is what I came up with! You can access a step-by-step tutorial at http://sawgrasshome.com/

Finishing Instructions

Preparation Instructions:
Fill all holes with wood filler and let dry. Apply additional coats of wood filler as needed. When wood filler is completely dry, sand the project in the direction of the wood grain with 120 grit sandpaper. Vacuum sanded project to remove sanding residue. Remove all sanding residue on work surfaces as well. Wipe project clean with damp cloth. It is always recommended to apply a test coat on a hidden area or scrap piece to ensure color evenness and adhesion. Use primer or wood conditioner as needed.

Comments

I cannot get the plan to come up. It shows only about the project and finishing instructions. Can you please help? The plan was posted in 9/11. Thank you.

I sent a message last week and no one has responded. I am looking for the podium instructions. There was no instructions at all, just the information and then the final instructions. I can't even find the tutorial.

Please help.
