Just wondering if anyone has been brave enough to hack IKEA's Hemnes Daybed which not only features a trundle, but includes the storage too. On their website is very detailed assembly instructions which I'm thinking could be hacked for building, but I'm leary as to where to begin. :-)

I'm about to give this a go since apparently Ikea doesn't want my money enough to actually keep their stock lists vaguely up to date. Will post plans once I've figured it out.

I've got one drawn up in Sketchup. I haven't built it, but I did build a simple daybed using the same basic method, and I've realized I need to change a few small things.
I'll post it as soon as I get it cleaned up.

IKEA Hemnes Daybed
It seems I’m about 8 years late to the party, but wondering if anyone has taken this IKEA Hemnes Daybed project on? Also, this is my first post! What an amazing site. :)
