I made this storage cubical for a family who desperately needed storage as well as an accent piece of furniture. The side cubicals were made to fit 11-1/4" baskets (like the cloth ones you can get from target) The middle cubicals over over sized for any storage needs like blankets books.

Plus 3 decent sized drawers with raised panels are perfect for notepads, phone books, keys, phones, etc. 15" deep and 46" made it ideal to double as a sofa table.

Its made of a combination of Birch Plywood and Pine and pained a bright gloss white!

What do you guys think of the design?

THANKS!!

Pete

Would like more info on how to make the raised panel drawer fronts.

This would also make a great Entryway table with a mirror.

I love your design, you've done a great job and the family who's getting it is really lucky. Thanks for sharing. :)

The Raised panels are done with a raised panel cabinet router bit. If you decide to get one, make sure you have the proper tools to use it. (not only do you need a router with a 1/2" shank, but you need a router table with at least a 3-1/2" center opening)

Thanks for the nice compliments! More pics of other stuff to follow
