The plastic cover that came with the fan looked cheap and flimsy and really didn't fit in with the vintage style of my bathroom. I searched around to try and find something else that would work but was unsuccessful so I decided that I needed to make something myself.

Thanks lbrown, you just gave me an idea. We are painting our entire upstairs and hate those industrial looking air return vents. This would be a great replacement for them. Thanks for the inspiration.
that looks so great1 I'm stealing this idea!
Actually that's nice. Your efforts payed off, you had the creativity and the skills to do this right. Now that I think about it a vent like this fit nicely in my bathroom design as well. I'll think it through...
It looks great. It`s ok to use your own skills, especially when your budget for redecoration is no high enough. We redecorate our bathroom too, we bought a new bathroom vanity modern enough to fit our tastes and we painted again.
I like the idea of having to be with the one which is going to be done in many ways. I wish that we all can do the same mistakes in by hands we all do the same things as well. amazing
