Nightstand - PB Alden/ modified Farmhouse

Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly versionSend to friendSend to friend

After seeing how simple PB furniture looked and how much it cost it seemed it was time to start making my own. This was my first project a pair of night stands.

From Plan: Farmhouse bedside table with some changes made.

Estimated Cost: about $45 each

Required Skill Level: Beginner - this was my first project

Type of Wood: Whitewood from the big box store (not doing that again), and reclaimed douglas fir barn siding for the tops and drawer fronts.

Finish Used: Miniwax wood conditioner, Providential stain and water-based Poly
