Yesterday, I was in the home improvement store, and saw a mom towing a cart full of lumber, pushing a cart full of kids. How awesome, I thought this mom is doing whatever it takes to improve her family's lifestyle.
It seems wherever I look, we are all building! How exciting! And we are building amazing things, being creative and resourceful, using what budgets and tool sets we have.
So I thought today, in the spirit of Feature Friday, to showcase a few of these amazing building projects that include instruction, going beyond what I do and looking to you and other bloggers for inspiration.
Have a great weekend and Happy Building!
Did you know that in the United States alone, each day, we throw out on average 60 million plastic water bottles? Cragio114 submitted a photo of his greenhouse made from used plastic water bottles and 2x2 as a post on this site. Check it out!
So seriously ... who really uses those teeny drawers in hall tables? I love how Lindsay from Country Girl Home made this table. Drawers add such complexity, cost and increase the problem potential. What's wrong with just putting faux doors on to get the look? You could add some shelves or crates underneath for additional storage.
Another idea is to have the front half of the top hinge up to hide a charging station or for keys and mittens.
and how you are so unselfishly showcasing others' talents!
OMGOSH Ana!! Thanks for posting this! My husband and I just found out we're moving to a bigger place and we need a table that will fit all our guests and family... AND THIS IS IT!! (Um, I'm pretty dang excited about moving. Sorry! From 850 sq ft for a family of 4, to 1650 sq ft.. Yep. EXCITED!!)
