Well, I must say, I definitely prefer Father's Day over Mother's Day.
Not that I'm complaining about getting jewelry or vacuum cleaners or flowers on Mother's Day ... or breakfast in bed .... BUT I definitely prefer giving .... especially if that means giving tools that ... I may possibly borrow ... you know what I'm talking about!
Honey, look what we got you!!!! I've already tested this tool out and it works great!!!
hehe
I'm so glad we understand each other!
So today I wanted to share with you some of the Ram's favorite tools that you - uh I mean your husband - might love for Father's Day.
NOTE: This post is not sponsored or endorsed by anyone - just sharing some Father's Day shopping ideas!!!
So after years and years of building with an $89 table saw, we decided it was time to upgrade to a bigger tablesaw when we started DIY kitchen cabinets for the Momplex. We figured we'd be saving about $5000-$10000 per kitchen by DIYing cabinets, and could justify the cost of a new table saw.
Well, we ended up spending a little more than we had planned, but this saw can do something that no other table saw can. Check it out:
And the saw performs amazing as well.
If you have the budget and the need, I'm highly recommending splurging on this saw.
PS - This is the first tablesaw that I find myself using - uh borrowing - on a regular basis. And we know what a wimp I am.
The Ram actually bought this orbital sander last Christmas for me. We still have the palm sander, but I like that this orbital sander doesn't vibrate your arm to pieces and leave tracks. Really speeds up the sanding process, the discs are easy to change and stay on, and the finished product is beautiful!
Ana, please communicate that I NEED all of these things for Father's Day. Coming from you adds much more credibility to my pleas for a SawStop and PC tools.
Great list of tools! Another option for great deals on tools is going reconditioned. For example, the Milwaukie combo set you listed was $170 with free shipping . . . lots of other great deals as well.
i bought my husband the new rockwell versacut! cant wait to see its performance will update but its a good thought and seems well crafted. its about 130 at lowes and i got military discount!
Hello Ana
I have a doubt. As you use the tool called for drilling in diagonal and so to join the wood?
I love your site.
Best regards from Mexico Toluca
