Hi everyone! Are you all ready for a very special Father's Day weekend? Do you have plans to show Dad just how loved and appreciated he is?
The Ram lives in a house with no less than SEVEN women, and not one single other male. Lucky guy, eh?
Granted, four of those women live in the backyard and are supposed to be laying eggs, but even they appreciate the one man in our family. He is after all that guy who moves their coop and catches Scramble.
And being that the Ram is the strongest member of our family by far, we need him for everything. From protecting us from bears we KNOW are scratching on the tent, to opening pickle jars to moving crazy heavy furniture that we build without asking ourselves how we will move it - he's THE MAN of the house. And that's not just by default.
So for Father's Day this weekend - and every Father's Day we have ever celebrated - we are giving Dad a break from working on our projects and opening pickle jars and building Mom(s) a house and going fishing!
But if I could .... here's a few projects that I would love to be working on hehe from friends from around the country, that I know through blogging.
You get me.
I met Kristen Duke at SNAP! What an amazing talented beautiful lady she is! Kristen snapped the photos of Grace and me on our Facebook header.
I love this desk Kristen and her husband made! It's so fun and whimsical! And for $50? Wow!
The amazing Karen at The Quaint Cottage built this beautiful vanity! She spent about $70 on the wood - quite a savings over the -uh - $1700 - Pottery Barn inspiration! Sorry, I had to gasp in there!
Karen is sharing her step by step plans as well! So definitely go check it out!
Have a great weekend!
Thank you Ana for including my vanity. Have a great weekend.

Hi Karen - you are so welcome! I'll be traveling - but I want to work on a project with you! Let's connect and make it happen!
All of those are stunning! I have GOT to go check them out, starting with Ms. Duke's desk. WOWZA!

You probably already know this but you had a shout-out on yahoo, through a Country Living article on decorating a house on the cheap. Exciting stuff! :)

I did NOT know! Thank you - what a nice surprise! Thank you for sharing - and as always totally love the table!!!
for adding my mudroom bins to the feature list. It seems to be quite the trend around these parts, I kid you not every single friend who has a mudroom (not me of course) wants the bins and I can't build them fast enough! They are a great decorative addition, easily customizable to fit the space and very, very useful too!
This is more inspiration than I can handle! haha! Thanks for sharing! ;)

I can't seem to pull up the link for the gorgeous desk without my internet security freaking out; do you have an alternate way to get to the listing?
Thanks!!!
