Replacement Bathroom Vanity
About This Project

Great and easy build from Ana. I made it to replace a vanity made of fake wood that falls apart when it senses water. No changes to the design. I used the "European" hinges and all I can say is that they are great but it is learning experience getting them to work properly. Thank goodness for the adjustments the hinge allow.

From Plan (new):
Estimated Cost:
$35 including hinges
Estimated Time Investment:
Day Project (6-9 Hours)
Required Skill Level:
Intermediate
Type of Wood:
Pine
Finish Used:
Entire vanity is primed and one coat of good quality satin white paint (Ben Moore). I then added two more coats to the exterior.

Very professional!

Wow, this looks great! And for $35, that can't be beat. I may need to build some of these for my bathroom too

When it comes to decorating

When it comes to decorating the house or fixing it we hardly bother about the bathroom and your project reminded me of mine. I tried it and I loved the new look. Keep posting such great projects.

Bathroom Projects are Good!

Thanks for the nice comments. Bathrooms are the one room where every project or build has a use. I have built shelves and a medicine cabinet that see use every day. Great plans on Ana's site.

The vanity just looks perfect

The vanity just looks perfect and it would be a great addition to my bathroom. I am remodeling my bathroom and I am planning to make it more interesting but I have small space so do you have any fun ideas?
