So after painting my piece I now need to let it dry and then sand scuff it again. I washed out the paint brush tray and roller and what a waist of paint. Is there some way to store these for the next coat or do you wash them out after every coat? I will say I enjoyed the planing, purchasing and building more then the painting.

my lazy way
I usually just take a plastic bag and tightly wrap it around the paint brush making sure to not crease the brush. for paint tray i just put another plastic bag around it and pour paint in the plastic, then when i'm done painting pour any left over back into paint can and throw out the bag. I know it's lazy but it works for me!
