Hinge workbench for small work spaces!

I suggested to my husband that we modify the "fold-up" ironing board design for a workbench in our small garage. It'll give us a decent surface upon which to work but can be closed up against the wall so we can park the cars.
I'm attempting to design in sketch-up but will likely defer to Ana!!!!
