Anchorage folks! I've driven down your way this weekend to meet you! Come join us at Barnes and Noble at 2PM on Saturday, November 10 - I promise I won't talk too long and will answer any questions you have about anything (may have to google any questions about science or tv trivia). It'll be a fun spot to meet other local builders! If you already have the book, bring it! Hope to see you then!
Happy Friday everyone!
We are pretty darn excited to be doing our final book signing this weekend in Anchorage Alaska. I love meeting other builders, hearing your stories, and getting feedback and requests from you in person. At our Fairbanks signing, it was brought to my attention that we do not have a simple work table plan! How could I have missed that?
As excited as we are to be doing a book signing, more than anything, we are looking forward to a little down time to get busy on projects. The Ram is very anxious to get working on the Momplex, and I've got so many projects I want to get done by Christmas.
But you already know all about crazy long DIY project lists, don't you? Well, not to make things any longer for you - so sorry about that - here's a round up of some great DIY/Project Tutorials that I couldn't not share with you!
Just click the title/link below to go to the tutorials!
Have a great weekend!
From the lovely ladies at Shanty-2-Chic - DIY Storage Cubbies. What to do with an awkward space above the fridge? Why not DIY the perfect sized storage piece? Check out the tutorial by clicking link title above.
And I love this barn wood headboard with an integrated light from the super talented Angie from Angie in the Thick of It. Check the tutorial out by clicking the link title above.
Hi Ana, the last signing... you must be exhausted in a very satisfying way! Again love the Feature Friday. It is always interesting to see the talent out there. I love the bedhead with the lamp (& the cushions), & what a cute toy box and i also love the charging station... I'm going to have to brainstorm some kind of wall mounted version i think!!! Anyway hope it isn't getting to cold for you up there, its slowly starting to get warm here, about 25-30°C (i think that's about 80°F), come January to it'll be 35-40 :-( . Keep warm, Juanita
P.s. would love a workbench plan especially from you, & was going to request one but didn't want to bother you again ;-)
It was really great to meet you today in Anchorage. Thank you so much for taking the time to come meet some of the "local" builders. I'm loving the book!
