Crooked Legs on Benchright Coffee Table

Apparently I suck really bad at measuring, because one of the legs was not attached at the correct height, so the table is wobbly. (And said leg is too tall to support top with the rest of the legs.

Any suggestions on best way to correct this? Should I just saw the piece off the top and re-attach it to the bottom? It's already glued and nailed to the bottom shelf part, so I'm not sure that removing it and just attaching new pieces is an option.
