Fasteners for 1 1/2" stock would be either 2 1/2" pocket hole screws or 3" nails or screws and glue
Can use nails (more rustic looking) or screws for attaching cross supports
2 - 1x12 @ 22 1/2"
1 - 1x12 @ 36"
2 - 1x6 @ 41 5/8" (both ends cut parallel to each other at 30 degrees off square, long point to short point)

Take all necessary precautions to build safely and smartly. Work on a clean level surface, free of imperfections or debris. Always use straight boards. Check for square after each step. Always predrill holes before attaching with screws. Use glue with finish nails for a stronger hold. Wipe excess glue off bare wood for stained projects, as dried glue will not take stain. Build the basic frame of your console table. Check to make sure the table is square and the width at the legs is the same as the width at the top.
Cut the cross supports and attach to face of sides with either nails or screws and glue. Make sure everything is square as you do this.
