Farmhouse Table with x-legs

Hi all! Brand new here! My husband and I are doing a major addition on the back of our house and we have a place for a great breakfast table. I have convinced him that we should build the table and he's on board. Of course, I have found the plans for the top here at ana-white.com, but the legs we want are like the cross legs similar to the toscana table from pottery barn. I don't think they should be all that hard to make, but we also want to be able to include extensions.

here is a link:

Does anyone have any suggestions or plans for a similar table? The top shouldn't be too hard. the legs shouldn't be too hard, but we are not sure the best way to prepare it so that it can be used with extensions.

Thanks in advance!
