Now when I think of a drywall sander, I think a old school flat mop looking device. I guess you could call this the "Dyson" of drywall sanders.

Then Pete applied texture to the walls and ceiling.

I personally felt like Pete did such an amazing job on the finishing that texture wasn't even needed, but Pete recommended a very light texture.

It's perfect.

And I can't believe this, but finally, it's time to pick the paint up!!!

I've been pretty sick, so it is no exaggeration how helpful it was to have you pick the paint colors out. The two top colors, Polished Gray and Autumn Harvest, were so close in votes, we decided to do one unit in each.

But when I went to the paint counter, there was no Polished Gray paint swatch. The paint counter spent about half an hour digging through brochures and books trying to show me a sample swatch of Polished Gray.

No such luck.

So what to do? Pick another color, or trust my readers and order up ten gallons without seeing a sample swatch in person?

Of course I trusted you - you've never let us down, and you've got great taste! We LOVE LOVE LOVE the Polished Gray. The Ram loves it. I love it. It is the most perfect light gray ever. Thank you, thank you for helping us select the colors.

Step 12:
With Pete done, we were so excited to get back to work on the Momplex. The Ram immediately started ripping up the protective paper on the floor.
