First off this site is an awesome place. I found it a few days ago and have already spent countless hours learning and looking forward to some builds. The wife and I will be building a home next year. We chose to make the dining room a billiards/dining room. We are doing this to get more use out of a dining room and of coarse more fun for entertaining. I am looking for some ideas on making a top or something for the table so we can eat there 2 or 3 times a year. The rest of the time it will be uncovered. I am scratching my head on what to do. I know something with several leafs and a way to connect them may be easier due to the weight. Then again I may me thinking about all this in the wrong way. Has anyone seen something like this? Any ideas are welcome!
