twin bed with slide

I thought for sure I had seen a plan on this site for a twin bed with a slide off one side, but I don't see it. I am interested in a mid-height bed, not a loft or bunk bed height.

I think I can find a plan here to modify, but I wonder if anyone has ideas on making the slide itself - how would you finish it so its actually "slippery"?
