DIY Card Catalog Cabinet

Hello DIY Friends!!!

I'm pretty much across the world in Atlanta today.  This heat and humidity sure feels like I'm on Mars, its definitely not something we see in Alaska!

We are very much enjoying our visit, but the real fun is still to come!

Of course, I'm here in Atlanta to host the DIH Workshop:Rolling Storage Cart at the Midtown Home Depot tonight at 6:30 PM - 8PM!

We are really hoping for an awesome turn out and a fun night, full of new and old DIY friends, lots of giveaways (including this plum colored cart!), and of course I'll be sharing DIY tips and tricks while building this cart.

Please register here so we know we can expect you!

Don't live in Atlanta?  This same workshop will be held at Home Depots across the country, so grab a girlfriend, your grandma, or even the hubs (babies and husbands welcome too!), sign up, and join in on the fun!

Hope to see you tonight!

And in the meantime, I've been dying to share this tutorial with you from my friends over at Decor and the Dog!

---

There's just so much out there these days in the wonderful world of DIY, and we can all learn from each other!  Today we are excited to share something we came across that was just too amazing not to share.

If you haven't stopped by Decor and the Dog

There's "the Dog", stop by now for really nicely done plans - you won't be disappointed!

I saw this at Décor and the Dog months ago and pinned it... how convenient that it is now on Ana White so I can put it on my "To-Do List." I'm a librarian, and I've envied the beautiful old card catalogs people have turned into lovely pieces in their home. They aren't really practical, though, unless you want to store your all your different types of wood screws in it! lol. I saw this cabinet with a faux card catalog finish and HAD TO HAVE IT. It is on my list for when I get better. My sig. other thinks I'm nuts for this lifelong dream. :)
