This is my first time posting here so I'm not sure I'm doing this right. I had a couple questions about the farmhouse table. First, can I use pocket holes to attach the support for the legs rather than cutting the notch? I don't feel comfortable cutting the notch. Second, is the finish that was used in the plan food safe? Has anyone ever used American Paint Co. wax finish? I'm wondering if it is durable enough. Thanks in advance for your help.
