Ahhhh... I had such expectations for this project. Didn't happen for me... at ALL!! I didn't realize that they don't necessarily do precise cuts at Home Depot. Its' my own fault for not watching over the boards being cut. As a result, the lid of the trunk came out all deformed, screws did not fit properly came out of the surface of the board, has huge cracks all over the place. now I gotto buy more boards and try doing it again. This time though I'm gonna build the frame first using 1x6 boards and then try to glue in the center pieces. If anyone has extra tips how to avoid aligning disaster please message me.
