Just wanted to take a second and to let you know we are thankful for you this Thanksgiving. I never for one moment take for granted that you enable me to follow my dreams, and I on this day of family and turkey and football, wanted to take a second and let you know how much I appreciate you. This is silly, really.
When Grace was a baby and we were building our house, I went to Lowe's first. I've always felt very blessed just to have amazing home improvement stores with helpful people, wide selections, and fair prices, but the reason I went to Lowe's first is really silly.

We all love handmade gifts for their quality, their uniqueness, and the specialness of knowing someone put their precious time into making that gift. Be it a quilt or a bench, a dollhouse or some new mittens, it's all the more special when it's made with love.

It's so hard to believe that just two years ago today, I saw a link on my friends Facebook page to her family blog. Not really sure what a blog was, I clicked over and read her blog post. Intrigued by blogging, and long searching for the right way to share my love of DIY furniture, I signed up for my own free blog and started blogging.
What a two years it has been.

Somehow, I think he meant "It would be nice if you finished your projects before starting a new one . . ."
