I built the island as a gift for my sister for christmas. She loved it. She finished it with a black top and red sides. I used the Michaela Kitchen Island Plan.

I built the laundry pedestals for our laundry room. I used Anna's plan from Sausha's Pedestals but had to modify the height to work for our laundry room. They fit just right and my wife loved it. Also we added roller baskets from Container Store because there just wasn't a laundry or wicker basket affordable enough to fit.

My daughter needed a way to store her clothes, sleep and do homework in a really small room.  I tackled this project with a lot of ideas and no real plan.  I had a lot of great help early on and then at the end with the painting.  Built the shelving on my own. and then gave the desk a rounded look to soften it.
