We love the way this table turned out. It is very solid and we expect it to last years.. If you look good at the finished table, you will see a darker pattern going across the top of the table.. Water had got splashed on the table while it was sitting on its side. You can see where the water hit and ran down the table top.. I thought a couple of hours outside would have been long enough for it to dry before staining.(LESSON LEARNED)..I was mad at myself for a minute, then realized that it only makes the table unique :)...Thanks for sharing the great plans Ana!

we used one coat of Rustoleum Kona stain. Brushed on, let sit for a couple of minutes, and then wiped off.. Then one coat of spar poly, lightly sanded with 220 sandpaper, then second coat.

Do you mean you used a second coat of Rustoleum Kona stain - or of spar poly?
