First time project
This was my first attempt at making anything. Thank you to Ana for providing such easy plans and the encouragement to try something. I think I'm hooked!

Convertible benches
We love these benches! We actually just leave one of them in bench form and the other in table form for everyday use.

Laundry Dresser
We had a very limited area for these to fit, so my hubby had to change the dimensions to fit these square baskets. We needed enough spots for our family of 10! I LOVE THEM, thanks; Ana!

We are going to have to turn
We are going to have to turn the baskets the same way due to the space in out laundry room. Do you happen to remember the dimensions of them? Thanks.

Dimensions
Do you have the dimensions for the square baskets? These would work much better in my home.

basket hold up?
We did something similar when our family was 8 (6 foster children). We bought 4 baskets (2 people per room) and then just had them on regular shelves. I LOVE the look of these! Unfortunately baskets give out over time and I can't ever seem to find baskets that once again are the same size as previous baskets. Did you order the baskets on-line someplace that you can consistenly get the same size for when the baskets wear out?

basket hold up
I have all the same laundry baskets that I bought at wal mart for like 3 or 4 bucks a piece. I would think that just meausring out the size according to the laundry baskets would work out fine! they have never stopped selling the ones that I buy, i find them at every wal mart I go to

Seriously? $50 for these
Seriously? $50 for these plans. Get real. Fine woodworking plans don't cost this much. Take some wood, make a box, and put slats in it to fit the baskets. The entire set wouldn't cost $50!

measurements
once again can anyone please give the measurements for this square basket design and the basket model number as well. i am very challenged when it comes to building things, but with the idea of home depot doing the cutting i think i could manage if i had the measurements. i need the square size to work for my space though. thanks in advance.

Help please!!

Laundry project
If you use the large wire baskets made by elfa they would not break like the plastic. The initial investment would be more but would save money over time.

Easy & Beautiful
Easy and awesome! My teenage children and I made these over the week-end! Super easy and great looking! Our first project was the laundry pedestal and these are a great compliment. We let Home Depot cut the wood due to time restraints and assembly was a snap! Thanks for the great family projects. My husband passed away in April and these projects have really helped us in the healing process (excellent for constructive bonding time).! Thanks again
Class/School Auction Projects
This year my 2nd-3rd class built the Modern Park bench for the school auction. They sanded, stained, and set the screw for the seat and back.
I also made two Adirondack chairs with matching stain.
Both projects had two coats of poly and really shined. They were a hit at the auction and the kids and families really appreciated the experience and final products.
Thank you Ana for making plans simple to follow and new skills learned each time.
Blessings,
Jennifer

I've been helping with our class auction project, and it's been a fun experience. But balancing schoolwork and project deadlines can be tough. That's why I found this article finance.yahoo.com/news/pay-essay-top-5-safe-105019899.html on safe essay services helpful. It saved me time and stress, allowing me to focus on both my studies and the auction project.

Garden Bench
Combined several different plans from several different sites, but my mother in law is a master gardener who loves birds and wanted a new bench for her garden. I used 1x4's on the seat slats (instead of 2x4's- added an extra support in frame), made the seat a bit deeper, and I modified the arms to allow somewhere to rest a glass of her southern sweet tea. :) All made from box store non PT lumber and sealed for outdoors. The ideas for the "pickets" on the back and birdhouse came from "MyOutdoorPlans.com"- want to give credit where credit is due.

Full Size Storage Bed
My daughter wanted her room redone for her tenth birthday. We decided to go big with Ana's storage bed plans. I had so much fun building this and really learned a lot. It took me three months to find enough spare time to finish it, but it was worth the wait.

storage bed
You did a really great job building the storage bed. I am in the process of building this same bed for my teenage son, only I'm not building the towers. Finding enough time to actually get a project finished is nearly impossible when you only have a few hours here and there! Your daughter will love all the extra storage space as she gets older.

Triple Bunk inspired by the hanging day bed
Inspired by the hanging day bed- everything was built as directed- then 5in X 3/8in lag bols used to secure to wall, as well as eye bolts and rope. Extra support added with ladders & 2X4's. Could have been a 1.5-2 day project but we kept breaking bits, missing tools, running out of screws as soon ad home depot closed... so we did it in 3.5 days

double loft bed
This is my extremely altered double loft bed. My sister needed a custom sized double loft bed, I figured I could use this plan and make two beds in an L shape, but the space I had to work with was smaller than these plans so I had to re-design most of the bed all together, I ended up attaching two sides of each bed to the wall with legs only on the outer pieces. She wanted a "fun" looking bed so I added a splash of color, just simple enough for me to make.

Is there a PDF of this?
Is there a link to printable Instructions for this? Or a PDF you can possibly send me? [email protected] :) I have to make this for my girls! Lol the covid life now has them all doing school from home so... We need space 😁💪
Raised Garden Planters
I built these planter boxes to hold my raspberry and blueberry plants. Also by connecting them with 2x2s, it keeps my dogs out of the garden
Sliding Door Console
I modified the plans to have three compartments instead of four. Also, the hardware was a challenge. Tip: use a wheel that has an internal bearing.
Pottery Barn Inspired Chaise Lounger
I followed Ana’s Modern Chaise build. The number of 2x4’s specified in the instructions is incorrect. You need 3 not 2. Other than that, a great plan.

Rolling saw horses
Your saw horse plan worked great for a wooden boat project I'm doing -- the 3" wheels (with one locking) enable me to move the boat around the workshop or even outdoors for heavy duty sanding.
I added blocks of 2x4 to the legs for more surface for the wheels and I extended the cross pieces to 4-feet long as the old AuSable River (MI) guide boat is about 40" wide.

Griselle from Puerto Rico
Shirley Modified
My husband and I built this together. Well, I helped! It was my first time using power tools. I'm the one who designs and picks out themes/colors and he does the manual labor but I wanted to learn a few things this time.
We modified the Shirley Console table and combined a few features from some of the other console tables. As you can see we modified the front of the drawers. We wanted the table to match our decor but also wanted some of the wood to show. I said, "I wish they made gray stain!" Miniwax does! This was our first experience. It was challenging because it dries so quickly and you are threatened with an uneven look but we love the way it turned out. We also bought pine instead of plywood so i cost a bit more but it was worth it! It also took us a bit longer because this was our first project and we modified the measurements to fit our entryway.
I chose these drawer pulls to match my gray and white damask curtains that hang nearby. I purchased them in brushed nickel from Home Depot for ~$3 each and spray painted them white. When I told people what I was doing I got negative feedback but I think they turned out great! Now to decorate it and make a matching entertainment center!
Also the Kreg Jig was a HUGE help...it really makes the piece look professionally made!! Thanks ana-white.com!!
It has 3 coats of stain each left on for 5 minutes and then wiped off with a clean rag. We lightly sanded between each coat and then applied 3 coats of satin polycrylic clear finish, sanding between those coats as well. We prefer the satin look which matches our hardwood floor that we sanded down to the original wood and applied a satin clear coat as well.
My husband did all of the staining and it is very time consuming especially with the water based stain because it dries so quickly you really have to move fast. An oil or gel based stain would be easier but we were not fond of any gray colors offered in either of those. My husband is requesting I stain the entertainment center that we plan on making otherwise it will be painted!

That looks great. I understand getting negative feedback. Most people think you have to have special training to build. I used to be skeptical until I began building. I hope your build let them know they can do it also. Keep it up...

Awesome!
I love your modified version. I am going to build this as well. I absolutely love the modification that you made on the drawer faces. Can you provide any instructions/hints to help me achieve the same look on the drawer faces? Thanks!

I know that some of the wood
I know that some of the wood measurements were not available at our local hardware store, which resulted in the sides being "trimmed out," so we decided to make the drawers match. We built the drawers like the plan, except we subtracted 1/4" from the depth of the drawers. We made the drawers (minus the trim pieces), slid them in the table, and while in place, nailed 1-1/2" x 1/4" trim pieces around the perimeter of the drawer faces using a finishing nail gun. This made the trim pieces flush with the face of the table.
Not sure if that made sense or not...I'm not good at explaining things in writing. If it doesn't, just let me know and I'll try again. And thanks for the compliment on the table!

Finally made it!
Thanks for your feedback on my post a while ago. I finally build this piece and are absolutely happy with it. We used your technique for the drawer faces, and my wife was so obssessed with your drawer pulls, that she tracked them down and special ordered them from our local Menards. I have uploaded a Brag and gave you credit for the idea. Thanks for the inspiration!

Cool
I have a pit bull. Shes the sweetest thing but loves to chew up her own beds. She wont chew the shihtzus bed or the cats beds just her own. I'd like to see her try this one out.
;) Now if I could figure out a way to get my dad to give up one of his fire hoses. hehe
Great job, great idea
