This has probably been done before but here it is for consideration by my fellow woodworkers. If you're anything like me I get pretty impatient waiting for wood glue to work its way out of the tube. So using some scrap wood, I drilled 1.5 inch holes in a small 1x4 board and elevated it about 3 inches. A small board under the glue tubes catches any unwanted drips. Makes a perfect caddy for my glue tubes and no more waiting for my glue. Its always ready to go!

For our wedding we wanted to make seating for our guests. We ended up making 16 chairs total over several weekends. We also made the pergola.

This was my first project for our newly purchased house. I built it in the 1-car garage and patio of the duplex we were living in prior to our move. I haven't put the trim pieces on yet because it we moved and started using it the day after I got it screwed together.

This was my 2nd woodworking project. My wife had been asking for a farmhouse bed for some time, so I figured I'd go for it. The end result was even better than I was hoping. It came together really well and the bed is just perfect. Thank you Ana for the plans!

I used the Ana White Queen Bed and King Bed plans as guides, as well as another blog called A Lesson Learned. I modified the dimensions to fit our specific bed, then I drew up the plans using Sketchup and got to work. All the wood is pine from Home Depot. The total project took a couple months because I could only work on it on weekends and didn't have full days to commit to it. In the end though, totally worth it and we love the bed!

The project went relatively well. Had to readjust in order to fit our king. I used 2x4s and 2x4 joist hangers to support the mattres. 

My husband and I made 2 of these for my 3 year olds "Picnic Birthday Party", and they worked out great! We will definitely be using them for a while! They took about a week off and on since I just had a little time each day to do them, but I could have gotten them done in a couple easily. Very fun, easy project! We ended up staining the bottom support pieces and painting the top pieces a light blue, I love how it turned out!

We made this loft bed for my daughter's 4th birthday. I did all of the cuts, sanding, and painting on my own, and had my husband help me with the assembly of the bed. It took us 2 full days to complete this build. The sanding and painting was the most tedious part of the project. I think it cost us about $150 for all of the lumber, paint, screws, etc.

My daughter's really into playing with 18" dolls right now, so I decided to make a mini version of her loft bed for her dolls. I think it turned out really well and she absolutely loves it! The doll sized loft bed only cost about $15 to make (including wood, foam for the mattress and fabric). You can't beat that price for a wooden doll bed...and what little girl wouldn't love a matching bed for her dolls?!?!

I'm so happy with how both beds turned out!

My husband and I built this as our first project & are thrilled with the way it turned out! We shortened it to 44" to fit our space. It took us a few hours but we got the Kreg Jig working the first try (though on a current project it is giving us some headaches). We really enjoyed building this on a rainy Saturday and received many compliments after posting the finished project on facebook. The Classic Collections was exactly what we were looking for when we decided to re-do our home office.

I modified the "standing high chair" from Ana's plan and from Blame Crayons blog post...so, I did a little freestyling. The standing platform is adjustable height, just like Ana's. My friend asked me to make this for her mom for Christmas.

I started creating the furniture for my new craft room by making the Easy Three Cube Benches I found here.  I modified them so that my cats could lay on top and look out the windows.  The cube benches gave me the confidence to design a printer stand.  Using Ana White's technique of "build the box" and then add the rest, I designed a custom printer stand I am so very proud of!  After the printer stand, I moved on to the final piece that would complete my craft room, a modular desk with plenty of workspace to complete any craft I want.  I modified each module a little to keep with the theme design of the room.  I created three modules.  The last one being a bookcase that is a modification of the Modern Craft Table bases.  I used better quality Oak plywood for the desk top, and good pine and whiteboard plywood for the modules.

We had an oak armoire for our television and we needed to find something that fit our new 50" tv, an unexpected gift from my brother in law. This was perfect for the size we needed and the small space we had to put the tv.
