Playhouse with Swing Set
We really enjoyed building this playhouse swing set for our kids. We have a decent slope to our backyard, so we needed to sink our posts, which required a bit more work thank Ana's plans. We also used a real window (my dad just happened to have in his garage) instead of the 3 open aired windows Ana's plans called for. Inside we built a fold under table, shelf, and a chalkboard for thier entertainment.
2x4 sectional outdoor sofa
My first Ana White project. My friend Shelley and I are RN's, and she got me hooked on woodworking. I started with cushions from Lowes ( in the sizes that you recommended)to see if I loved the sectional for a few years. I loved it so much I decided to have custom Sunbrella fabric ones made. Even though the custom ones were more expensive, it has been worth it. They go perfect with my California Mission style home. Now I want to add the armless one and make it a U-shape. I did add a piece at the bottom back of each sofa to hold the cushions in. The seat cushions would slide out the back when sitting on the sofa. I made the coffee table to match. Our family loves it!

Cluckingham Cottage
Cluckingham Cottage wasn’t built in a day, but it WAS built by a DAME!
A-frame instructions were pretty helpful considering the builder knows nothing about construction. I made a few modifications to accommodate my 5 chooks + 2 bantams . Sturdy and tight structure.
Outdoor Covered Seating
I built two 3 person outdoor sofa's and a coffee table as per your plans. It is sitting nicely inside the pergola we build last fall. I built a grill table too, to match the others. Thank You.
Rustic Modern TV Console
Just finished up this unique TV console. Built from reclaimed pallet wood.

No Plans for "Rustic Modern TV Console"
I am logged in and I do not see the plans for the "Rustic Modern TV Console"
Garage Shelves
This was a pretty easy project, but I had to adjust the vertical legs to accommodate the sloping garage floor. I drew a horizontal line for the top edge then measured to the floor at the spacing I wanted the vertical legs. I used these measurements to cut the three vertical legs. It’s level and straight, even though my garage is sloped.
Outdoor Sofa & Coffee Table
This project took a while. Stained everything before assembly which made it easier. Plans are easy to follow. Thank you for making them available. Our property is starting to look a lot like your website.

Joining method?
Looks amazing! What method did you use (pocket holes, dowels, deck screws, etc) to join the visible portions like the arms?
Folding Garage Workbench
I wanted a good flat and level workspace to continue projects. This workbench folds up to the wall in my garage so I can still park when not working on anything. I made it pretty stout with 2x4s and 2x6s since it would need to support fairly large pieces of furniture without deflecting. It is very heavy as a result though (good core workout folding it up and down :) )
I used two folding shelf brackets on the legs to keep them from accidentally being kicked out from under the table while it's out. (http://www.woodcraft.com/Product/2001690/2615/Folding-Shelf-Bracket-8-P…)
I used four heavy strap hinges to connect the table to the 2x6 (which was lag screwed into studs). Two gate latches were used to secure the edge of the table to studs when the table is folded up.
I cut the legs approximately, and then when the table was hung I cut and shimmed them to get the table level on the uneven surface of the garage floor.

Really like your workbench
I really like this fold up bench design. It may be heavy, but I bet it's incredibly sturdy. I also have a really compact garage. I have pegboard on my walls, so a bench that folds UP doesn't work for me when I want to get a tool.
My own bench is more light duty. It's a sheet of 2x4' plywood attached to a frame made from dimensional lumber. It folds down so I have access to the tools at all times. It's based on a design on the Family Handyman website, although you can find the same design all over the web.

More Pics??
Great idea! I need to build this. Can I please get a picture of it folded up, so I can see the hinges on the legs and the latches holding it while folded?

Folding leg hinges
Can you show another picture of the hinges you used on the legs that can fold out when lowered?
Thanks! Kate
King Storage Bed with bookcase headboard
King Storage Bed with a built in bookcase as a headboard. Tons of storage space and turned out great especially at night.
Kitchen Island
I used and modified the easy kitchen island plans. I put a back on it and extended the top to accommodate bar stools.

After reviewing the original Easy Kitchen Island plans I’m wondering how you attached the 2x6 boards for the top so it fit onto your base?
Cedar Privacy Planter and Raised Garden Beds!
We bought 40 pickets and built the privacy planter and these 2 beds with 2 pickets left over. Might need a planter box on the front porch

Garage Storage
My wife was needing some extra storage in the garage for seasonal decor totes.
So, of course, I first go to Ana White's website. Voila, I found the perfect plans for the space I had to work with.
- The final product ended up being 72"Hx54"Lx21"W
- I used a counter sink bit to pre-drill screw holes so the heads would be slightly below the surface of the boards. This way the totes would not get caught on or damaged by the screws.
Outdoor chair frames and coffee table
I built a set of chairs and a coffee table for our newly designed outdoor area. These look amazing and people love sitting on them and hanging out outside our house.

DIY Bathroom Fan Vent Cover
The plastic cover that came with the fan looked cheap and flimsy and really didn't fit in with the vintage style of my bathroom. I searched around to try and find something else that would work but was unsuccessful so I decided that I needed to make something myself.

A-Ha Moment
Thanks lbrown, you just gave me an idea. We are painting our entire upstairs and hate those industrial looking air return vents. This would be a great replacement for them. Thanks for the inspiration.
HERB GARDEN PLANTER
This project was a super easy and fun build that I made for my mother's herbs. In total I spent probably around $12 in material, and only spent about 2 hours building it. Came out great!

Thanks!!
Being that its going to be holding moist soil, and inevitably warping some, I didn't want to waste too much money on better wood, so i went with cedar fence boards (5 1/2") for this build. It DID move around a little when I first watered, but everything has held together fine, and I defiantly think it will add to the "rustic" look for my herb garden planter. i will try to upload some pictures as it "ages"
Double Door Barn Greenhouse
I loved this plan so much but I really wanted double doors so we made a few modifications to fit them. Can’t wait to build out the interior and start growing! Thank you for the amazing plans!
Inspired by the Farmhouse Bed..... for my Dog!
Inspired by Ana's Farmhouse Bed plans, I built this dog bed for my Jack Russell. I measured and planned for it to comfortably fit two standard bed pillows (in waterproof covers of course!). She loves it!

These are incredible. They look a little deeper, and would be good for vegetables. How deep are they?
