Hello! My name is Ellen. I have been lurking around the Ana White page for a couple months and just realized it has a forum! I just decided...this afternoon (lol!), that I want to learn how to use power tools and to build things myself. I was so inspired to read Ana White's story about building her house and I'm cautiously optimisitic that I can at least build some small things myself.
I have never built a single thing before so this is really new for me. I'm pretty nervous about it acutally, and don't learn well without someone telling me how to do things. I can't even use a sewing machine or anything like that. But I have a huge honey-do list that never seems to get done, so I'm ready to jump in a start building my closet systems, tables, chairs, loft bed for one of my kiddos, etc., without my hubby...
Does anyone have any ideas for a very first project?
