I'm an absolute beginner when it comes to most DIY home projects, but there is so much I want to learn! I love designs that are practical, functional, well-made, clean, and reminiscent of the "old days." Ever wiser since having had two kids and living a few years in my 30's, I no longer care about "stuff" to the point that I will break the bank for something I "have" to have....I'd SO much rather take the time to make it myself, and learn valuable life skills in the process.
