I'm a homemaker who took a building trades class in high school (17 years ago) and loved it. I've always enjoyed working with my hands & creating things. I've been wanting to build some things for around the house for some time now. I've seen a lot of things on this site that have inspired me to get up off my butt and DO what I dream. I can't wait to fill my 10-year-old stepson's bedroom with awesome & colorful furniture, as well as create some hopefully timeless pieces for the rest of the house.
