Preparation

Shopping List
  • 3 - 1x6 @ 8 feet long
  • 4 - 3/4" dowels @ 36" long
  • 1-1/4" brad nails
  • wood glue
  • 3" self tapping star bit screws (about 4) for hanging to studs in wall
Cut List
  • 2 - 1x6 @ 34" - sides 
  • 4 - 1x6 @ 31" - main shelves and back 
  • 1 - 1x6 @ 11-1/4" - divider
  • 1 - 1x6 @ 19-1/4" - small shelf
  • 4 - 3/4" dowels @ 33"

Instructions

Step 1

Measure and mark out the hole center.

Drill with a 3/4" spade bit or forstner bit.

Cut the top and bottom corners off with a jigsaw or circular saw.

Step 2

Attach the sides to the top and bottom.

Step 3

Attach the shelves to the sides.

Step 4

Attach the divider to the shelves.

Step 5

Attach the remaining shelf.

Step 6

Hang on the wall through the back 1x6 pieces.

Insert dowels into the drilled holes.
