upcycle old table legs into a coffee table

Hello DIY Friends!

Man, does finish work ever take forever!  We are so close to finishing up that second Momplex unit, but it's the little things that take the time.  Like caulking moulding, sealing tile, and touch up painting trim.  We are getting there though!

One of the Moms had this old dining table -

The table was in decent shape, but the legs - man were those legs terrible!

So I removed the legs, and replaced them with new legs.

But what to do with the old legs?

Since the legs were table height, and the feet (yeah, these table legs had feet on the bottoms) were both very scratched and very dated, I decided to chop the feet off and make a coffee table with them.

You'd never know those were the same legs!

This table was such an easy build, I did add one thing ....

A floating drawer for a remote control cut into the aprons!  I love how it turned out!

As part of Ryobi Nation's Green Challenge in April, I shared this project plan over there.  So go check out the step by step photos!
