I'm new to this site and love the many plans that are available here. I am very new to woodworking but would love to start making my own things. I really want to make the entryway bench and shelf for my entrance but my space is only 45" wide (without including the base boards...so even less, maybe 44") and I want to customize this plan for that space. Is there a simple way to shorten the width of this plan without throwing off the whole look of this bench?? Thanks!
