The classic picnic table made easy to build!
We love picnic tables - they are inexpensive and sturdy and SO versatile. In this free project plan, we simplify the building process. You'll just need some standard off the shelf lumber and screws to build!
We also have created a kids picnic table plan, toddler picnic table plan and an octagon picnic table plan.
If you have kids that share a small bedroom, than building a bunk bed might be a good solution. In limited space, instead of having two beds that take up most of the space in a room, bunk bed gives more room for kids to play around. Few years back I built this bed for less than $400 of material.

This DIY shoe rack bench is very simple to make and cost about $30 of material. It’s very sturdy and could also be used as a bench for seating. Our boys keep their backpacks, books and lunch boxes stacked on top so that they don’t forget to grab it before they leave to school.
