I didn't know about you until I read that you were going to be at HAVEN in Atlanta. I'm planning to be there too and am hoping I will have an opportunity to meet you. I'm thinking how very proud I would be of you as a daughter. The fact that you and your husband are spending time building a home for your MIL and Mother is really special and so are you. Keep that passion you have.
Ana, it was so great to finally get to meet you and to have you coming to Haven to speak as well. We are beyond excited for you to be with us again in Atlanta. You are just adorable and I love what you have accomplished over here. Awesome stuff! Hey, I just got a nail gun and used it for the first time today. I am woman, hear me roar. Putting up that board and batten will be so much easier now and fixing up a fixer upper house will consume my summer (in between Haven, of course!).
I just love your colorful style board, those are some great words to live by!
Thank you so much for making the trip! It was so fun to see you in person, and I really enjoyed your class--the whole panel did great, and I really loved what you shared. :)
Ana, you were amazing! You Oooooz style, and I was so incredibly happy to be on a panel with you :)
Time definitely went too fast. There needed to be 2 free days, where all you get to do is sit and talk with all the ladies. ha! No classes, just food and talking :)
Seriously... thank you SO much for all you do, and for enlightening us with how your style has defined you!
I've been wrapped up in new Mom world for quite some time, but I'm glad that I came over today to read what you've been up to. One of the reasons I felt confident that I could handle being a stay at home Mom is because of you, so thank you. You've given me the how to on building my own stuff, figuring out how to live within my means, and still live beautifully. Thank you for being you and for inspiring the rest of us...there are so many people that you touch that you don't even realize.
Hope you have a great rest of the week, welcome home!
Ana,
I so appreciate what you try to do each day with your blog and lifestyle. I wholeheartedly agree with the words you chose to define your style. Your plans are so easy to follow, and so interesting. You inspire countless people to step up and do something with their own two hands. I know you have me. I browse through your posts regularly, just for fun. I always enjoy your momplex posts the most, since I have a secret obsession with houses, and that one looks very well thought out. I have even taken to designing a few of my own little things - a custom sewing table, and a tiny floating nightstand for a very narrow space. I use your techniques and things turn out beautifully. Especially love the Kreg Jig! That thing rocks!
I forgot how I found you, but the first thing that made me realize I was going to stay is contained in your paragraph about not charging for plans. I won't go into "my story", but know that I am most grateful for that choice by you. I felt like I'd won a lottery that came with an experienced advisor. Even today, it brings tears to my eyes. Thank you so much!
Ana- I so enjoyed meeting you! I've followed your blog for years! My Dad is a cabinet maker and I have access to all the great tools and a man with incredible skills. Too often I design stuff but let my Dad do the hard parts. I was so inspired to change that! I CAN build it and I should. There is so much satisfaction in just building stuff. Thanks for sharing yourself and, as always, your great plans. You were awesome!
Ana,
One of the highlights of the whole conference was finally meeting you in person. You are so humble, gorgeous, and kind! Your class was amazing and I can honestly say SNAP was the best conference I have ever been to...oh and I want your purple shoes!!!
...that I got to meet you at SNAP! You are a wonderfully beautiful on the inside and out and I enjoyed talking to you. Looking forward to seeing you again in Atlanta.
@anawhite I wasn't really sure how to go about this but I was wondering if you could do a dog house plan. I have the idea sketched out but can't figure out how to come up with the actual building instructions. I am moving into a house that has a fenced-in backyard so would like to move my two dogs, one being a lab Shepherd mix (so tons of hair), to the backyard but want them to still be able to get out of the rain and sun. I have a picture of what I sketched out but not sure how to load. Can you help?
