I am getting ready to build a queen size bed from the Farmhouse collection. LOVE this bed/headboard/footboard. BUT - I need to know how to build the bed frame to be able to use a box spring with this bed. Can this plan be modified? Or is there another bed frame pattern that can be used with a box spring, still giving the same look? In otherwords, the wood frame basically would be around the box spring.

You could use nice ply for the sides and just make sure the sides are high enough to cover the box spring. The headboard and footboard could be just as per the farmhouse bed.
