I started this backyard project at the beginning of the Pandemic. I used Ana’s plans for the Adirondacks and the picnic table and the bench.

I used Ana's planter box plans and I designed and built the bench out of pallet wood, and purchased the power coated trellis's and custom fit then to the planters.
This is a rabbit hutch I created for my kids 5 rabbits. The thing that makes this hutch really nice is if you have a large lawn you can just move the hutch a little bit every day and the lawn gets mowed, fertilized and you don't have to worry about cleaning up all the rabbit droppings. I also mounted a rabbit feeder on the inside of the house door to keep the food dry, which has worked really well.

I apologize I haven't got the completed planset up for this project yet but I will try to get it up in the next couple of weeks as well as a very complete materials list. You will need to go to a farm/feed store to get the correct 1"x2" wire and 1/2"x1" wire for the floor. Do not go to Home Depot and use the cow wire they have or the hardware cloth for the floor, neither of which are the correct choice. Home Depot has the lumber but not the wire. If you have any questions or even improvements to my design I would be interested in hearing from you.

Finally got around to uploading the plans. I still need to create a material list for this plan but the basics are there now. We've had rabbits in it for about a year but recently we've tried some guinea pigs and it works great for that as well. The guinea pigs can pretty much live off just the grass and dandelions but you do need to move it daily to give them plenty to eat.
This was a simple coat rack I decided to make with some random scraps of wood I had from previous projects. The only out of pocket costs for me was the hooks!

I decided to make a kid friendly version as my kids were creating quit the pile of courts and backpacks when they got home from school, mostly because they couldn't reach the adult one! With some left overs, problem solved!!

Exactly what I was looking to make without getting a router involved! What kind of moulding is that?
I really like the legs of this table but wanted a square, planked top. I also used a stencil that I got from amazon for the design.
I found some 12" boards that were really pretty unfinished. I used Ana's basic Shelf Help frameless bookshelf design to build this shelf. I added hairpin legs to give it some character and get it the height I wanted.
My husband modified these plans by making it a 42" tall bar high table. He built it and I stained it with Dark Walnut Danish oil and it came out better than we imagined. Thank you for these awesomely cool DIY plans.
This is one of the cheapest projects for my kids I have ever completed!! And the most rewarding. I think everyone of my neighbors has been on the teeter totter...including adults :) My kids just love it and I am thinking of making a few for my nephews for Christmas. I was able to find all the wood I needed in my scrap pile. I had the PVC pipe and bolt already also so all I had to make a trip to the store for was the foam for the seats. My son helped me build this in an hour. I liked the unfinished look so I just sprayed it with a little Thompson Water Seal. Thank you Ana White!!
My husband and I had so much fun building this for our ladies! We had some material leftover from the build of our house so we made a few adjustments. I’ve included progress pics because we found others very helpful during our build. We also added hardware wire and brick at the base to predator proof (not pictured).
I built this for my daughter and more or less followed the plan without changes. I wasn't able to get hold of 1x3 so had to rip 1x4s which was a little time consuming. In hindsight I would probably increase the depth of the desk as it's a little shallow but not a huge problem.
I primed with two coats of BIN Primer as there were a lot if knots in the wood and I heard this is the best to cover then. It was a lot more expensive but hopefully worth it. Finished with latex semigloss.

The plans for this headboard are great. Very easy to follow and the cut list is spot on. I used some choice pine from Lowe’s ($63) and then used the vinegar with steel wool mixture to age the wood. That’s where this piece is at right now. Trying to decide if I want to leave it or put a light satin clear coat.

I needed patio furniture and happened to come across Anna White’s site. It is a great beginner’s project. I was so happy with how they turned out.
Tweaked the Tryde Coffee table plans to fit daughters desired look with added magazine shelf and appropriate dimensions. Weekend project turned longer due to top color changes and re-sanding off stain a couple times. Settled on Ebony stain and ivory paint bottom. Love the plans from Ana White.

This project was a blast to build!!!! I modified the fire truck loft bed by changing a few of the exterior accent pieces. I also built it to fit a full mattress in stead of the planned twin. I did this by adding additional slates for support. I just recently was able to finish it completely when i found someone who could make the decals. Hope you all enjoy and feel free to ask any questions. Also I used cabnet grade plywood so mine cost was a lot more expensive.

Similar to a previous poster, I was inspired to build this project to use as a combo dresser/changing table for our first child's nursery. It took quite a few days worth of work (spread out over a couple of months altogether) but I finally finished the bulk of the work a few days before entering the third trimester of pregnancy, phew! I think we'll enjoy this piece for years to come, thanks Shane and Ana for the plans! (Please excuse the poor lighting and ugly garage, we haven't set up the nursery yet so the dresser may be living in the garage until we do!)
I just finished shelves on both sides of my garage using your video. I built a coat rack and boot rack. I also made space for tall items like tools and ladders near the garage door. I had to also build in a gun safe, freezer and my work bench. Everything came together and now I have everything in bins on shelves.

Cluckingham Cottage wasn’t built in a day, but it WAS built by a DAME!
A-frame instructions were pretty helpful considering the builder knows nothing about construction. I made a few modifications to accommodate my 5 chooks + 2 bantams . Sturdy and tight structure.
I recently had a workshop built and I have been trying to now work on the furniture for it. My first project was this workbench inspired by the plans "garage workshop workbench". I added drawers on each side and will probably end up adding a shelf in the open area as well after letting my kids finish decorating the top. It's already a nice addition and I may build a smaller version for my garage. I added casters and have the option to roll the table around or have it stationary.

I would love to see this in a farm-house (rather than rustic) aesthetic along with drawers under the seats for extra storage. Maybe on casters with a fold up extension on the other side? So many ideas running through my head with this!
