I'm a father of 4 girls ages 6,5,4, and 1. So a regular bunk wasn't enough so I decided to add the 3rd bunk. Each painted in my girls favorite colors. The paint was Martha Stewart signature paint which was on clearance on Lowes. Think it was 3 or 4 dollars a quart. The cubby steps are basically just 4 boxes stacked on top of each other and nailed together and made from 3/4" furniture grade plywood.

It didn't come out perfect but I'm pretty happy with the results. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks.

We really enjoyed building this playhouse swing set for our kids.  We have a decent slope to our backyard, so we needed to sink our posts, which required a bit more work thank Ana's plans.  We also used a real window (my dad just happened to have in his garage) instead of the 3 open aired windows Ana's plans called for.  Inside we built a fold under table, shelf, and a chalkboard for thier entertainment.  

This was my 5th build. Took a few weekends working in the morning. Table is Weathered Oak (base) and Early American (top) stain. Modified the plans to make it slightly smaller so it would fit better in my kitchen. Very sturdy and table looks gorgeous in person, very happy.

Made these two in about 3 hours. Instead of wood glue I used construction adhesive. Now to sand and stain then add cushions.

This is my 10ft long picnic table (which is bar height) that we built for the patio. We needed better seating for parties and BBQ's. I will post the plans later! Also featured is the couch that we designed and built with the center table.

Thanks to Ana White and fsmumford, I was inspired to create a castle bed for my princess. It was a lot of hard work but it paid off seeing her going up the stairs and down the slide a million times the 1st day!

Our first plan from Ana White. It was really easy to follow and this was a fun project to do with the children. We used pine wood because it was cheaper than cedar, so we will try to not put them directly under the rain.

We were able to make two birdhouses in removing .25 inch in one birdhouse. We used wood we already had for the third one.

We let the children added some details to the birdhouses. Because of the birds we want to attract here, one hole is 1.25 inch and the other two are 1.5 inch.

One day project (another day for poly)

My oldest son's room is only 97 square feet. We needed to add the maximum amount of storage in the small, awkwardly-shaped room. My husband and I decided to make a built-in bed using a couple of stock cabinets to flank the bed. Using Ana White's plans, we made 3 rolling trundle drawers to go underneath. 

This was the first piece of furniture  my husband  built. He also built a matching sideboard/buffet table.
