I'm a beginning DIYer that has a passion for making my own stuff. I lived in High Point, NC, the furniture capital of the world, and discovered that good, high quality furniture was very expensive-but looked fairly easy to make. That being said, I am on a mission to make my own home furnishings. I am a single mom, with a limited budget, that has expensive taste-which is why I am on these boards. I love what I see and get inspired by what other people are doing/making. My projects that I have lined up so far are: Dining trestle table, King canopy/panel headboard, side board, end tables, and coffee table. Some of my family room stuff will be done with pallets; I really like the look and it is teenager friendly.
